Hi smak,
Please look at the picture showing the neck...don't you think this  glaze looks too white, too new and too perfect? In contrast, the interior looks too dirty. And there is not even the least uneven surface, scratch or glaze frit along the top rim. A bit too perfect in my view. On the other hand, the glaze faults along the connection between base area and foot rim are in contrast to this.

The blue pigment does not seem to be of the Jiaqing reign. I have difficulty deciding if this is printed or not, but the blue painting looks as if it has no depth as it would with a vitreous glaze containing bubbles covering it. Would need a magnifier to verify if it is flat, or if there is a layer with bubbles over the decoration.
The the shape seems not to be standard either, the mouth is too wide and the waist too thin. A Qing vase would usually have a wider waist and smaller mouth. My personal view.

Too many questionable points I think, I guess you know what that could mean.

What do you think of this piece? When do you think its made? Im thinking early republic/ late qing?
